The River Valley Board of Education is a five member governing body elected by the voters of the school district. The Board of Education, representing the community, has the legal responsibility for the education of the children of the district. The Board derives its authority and responsibility from state and federal law.
Our mission is to provide a quality education in a safe learning environment for all students through a high performing organization committed to continuous improvement.

The River Valley Board of Education meets at 6:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the RVHS Library/Media Center. Any changes to this time will announced to the media.
The River Valley Local Board of Education will meet for a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 5:00 p.m to conduct regular Board business. The Meeting will be at the High School Library, 4280 Marion-Mt. Gilead Rd., Caledonia, OH 43314.
