Student Illness

There have been a significant number of influenza A and B cases in Marion County recently. This has also greatly impacted River Valley. Below you will find a link to the Marion County Public Health Department's Facebook page with information about when it is okay to go to school and when it is best to have your child stay home.

We would also like you to communicate signs or symptoms that your child is having when he or she is called off from school.  This information can assist us in detecting an outbreak or potential for an outbreak before it has a chance to be widespread.  When calling your child off, you can simply state the exact symptoms your child is having.

Please help us all stop the spread of illnesses!
