Monthly News

RV Factor- Press Pause

The students participated in a school-wide assembly to learn about the RV Factor principle Press Pause. Press Pause encourages students to stop and think about their reactions to events that occur in their lives. An example that we gave students was the character, Anger, from the movie Inside Out.  We are encouraging students to practice Pressing Pause throughout the month of October and encourage you to speak with your child about this at home.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 18 and Thursday, October 25. Your child’s teacher will be sending home sign up information soon. Conferences are a great way to learn how your child is doing in school and to develop an understanding of grade level expectations.

Arrival & Tardiness

We would like to let everyone know that school begins at 9:00 a.m. At this time, students should be entering the classrooms and preparing for the day. Please note that 9:15 a.m. is when students are considered tardy. This means that students should be in their classrooms at 9:15, not just the school building. If your child enters his/her classroom after 9:15, it is considered a tardy. Students should be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. If you are arriving in the parking lot at 9:10 or after, your child does not have enough time to get to his/her classroom. Please be sure that your child is on time. Thank you for your help in this!
