In the spring of 2015, The River Valley Board of Education approved a mandatory drug testing policy that was to be put in place starting with the 2015-16 school year. The goal of this policy is to create a drug free educational environment while looking out for the health and safety of our students. It is also our hope that this policy will serve as a deterrent for students if and when they are faced with the choice of trying drugs. This is a mandatory testing policy for anyone in grades 9-12 that plans to participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, organizations or drives/parks at school.
Students and Parents are required to sign the attached form and return it on the day of testing. Payment of $15 is also due on the day of testing. Checks can be made out to: River Valley High School.
