VEX Robotics is a separate part of our STEMS Club. The number of students is limited because of the number of robots we have available. These students are generally selected based on experience and interest.
The VEX season starts in the fall so it will start meeting before STEMS Club starts. There are usually summer camps we attend as well.
VEX competitions are different from the National Robotics Challenge. There is a new challenge every year, and there are several events throughout the year that we will attend in order to try to qualify for the state competition. The challenge is the same each time so it is really neat to watch the students troubleshoot and progress throughout the season.
